Give it a shot...

Well, lets give this a shot. I have never blogged before, but often I find myself working out my problems on paper. There used to be a journal I would write in.."The Bitch Book" as I called it, that contained my anger. I would write in there all the crazy thoughts I would have in my mind. Only to go back and read those things and think I was absolutely rididculous. I guess it was more of a private vent session.
That journal has been replaced by communication skills. Thanks to the loving patient husband I am lucky enough to have married. I intend to use this blog as a reminder to myself to look for the silver lining. Good things. Happy thoughts. :) My new goal is to always look for the good in every situation no matter how awful it may seem at the time. I am usually pretty darn positive but as we all know sometimes that really takes a lot of work.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
